Hey guys, I just got me new car :-)...02 SS, 6spd...its a sweet car, but is missing a few. One thing is an exhaust. I would like to know if anyone knows what exhaust will give me the best sound (regardless of horsepower increase), and what exhaust will give the best horsepower increase (regardless if it sounds like a tin can). Finally, what is the BEST exhaust all around. I am currently looking at the SLP cat back 3" exhaust...rated for a 17hp boost, and I am also looking at the Borla cat back 3". Does anyone know of anything good.

the SLP loudmouth or TSP rumbler will be the highest hp gains, but are quite loud

the best sounding is kindda subjective, but probably the most commonly associated with that question is the GMMG, corsa or the magnaflow

Sound quality...judge for yourself @ www.ls1sounds.com

If I were to switch i'd prolly go with B&B Tri-flow or Mangnaflow
