Exhaust help

I've got a stock 2000 Z28. I like the sound of the exhaust, but it sounds like everyone else's camaro I know. I want something different that won't cost me to much money.I'm kind of wanting something thats like the old camaros used to sound like. I love loud exhaust as long as it sounds good. No gargling mike mustangs have or loud popping like trucks sometimes do. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm thinking about going with something like a loudmouth or another muffler like that. Well I guess a loudmouth is called a resonator. Any help would be great.

Re: Exhaust help

A 30 dollar exhaust cutout paired up with your stock exhaust manifolds will sound really good. Otherwise, it is a matter of preference on which catback sounds the best and there are several brands on the market.

Re: Exhaust help

Well that sounds good, but I'm really just wanting to go with a replacement for the muffler and tail pipes and not have to redue the entire exhaust system right now. A little tight on money ;-)
