engine question

this might be a stupid question but i am curious if a ls1 will fit into a 95 z28 body. and if it would would this be a good route to go down? thanks for any help anyone can give me on this.

It would be alot cheaper and much less of a headache to just go ahead and sell your 95 and get a 98-up car. I have heard there is nothing easy involved when trying something like that.

My mechanic who did my LT1 swap has a 95 z28 with an LS1 in it. He said it wasn't too hard to do. Had to get an SS hood though so it would fit.

(I don't know if this is true, and it's been almost a year since I read something about it) I heard the front end on the LS1 Z28 is not as narrow or sloped as the Lt1 because the LS1 engine is taller

if that's true then you'd have to swap out the 95's front end body work and all too

IF that's true...
