Tomorrow I plan to get the engine codes off of my car that had an engine swap sometime not too long ago. I just bought it, so I want to find out exactly what 350 TPI its got.

Can the engine code tell me the exact year the engine is, and the exact hp and tq numbers?

I'll post the code here tomorrow night when I get it.

nope.
a code means something went wrong or a sensor went bad. it cannot and will not tell u what year the motor is.

to find out what the motor is,u can get the # behind the driver side on the block...but on a third gen w/ TPI,youll have to cut the firewall out to see it lol.
