Not sure if this is the appropiate forum but here goes...I've already got a set of block-off plates for my LT1, but it looks like a real nightmare removing the EGR and blocking the tube and header. I'm about to sell the plates and forget about this!!

Is there any "civilized/human" way of doing this!?!?
Anyone with past experience please give me some pointers and tips

Just curious.... why do you want to delete the EGR system? No performance gain associated with it... most of the parts are out of sight and not in the way of anything.... may help eliminate detonation under some part load driving conditions.

Since you've also got this on LT1/LT4 Engine Tech, lets lock this one.
