Although it looks like a cover, it's not. It's actually one piece with the entire top of the dash. you have to replace most of the dash to fix it properly.

I have seen a few people cut a peice out of a good dash and silicone it in place. Looks like crap but better than nothing.

looks like i wont be replacing it soon how much is that whole piece anyway ?

Well, every now and then you can get one on eBay for about 150 shipped, otherwise you're looking at least 300.

You could also try to find a board member who has one and negotiate price.

I ordered one from they people who sell them for 150 on eBay (100 + 50 shipping). It was damaged in shipping due to poor packaging, and they are being a real pain in the *** with the return/refund. It's a month and a half later and that heavy POS is still sitting in my house. So buyer beware.
