DRLs stay solid ~sometimes~ light bulbs good

I have no burned out bulbs(positive on that) and yet frequently when i use my turn signal, it stays solid (the inside indicator, and the outside lights both come on and stay on solid).

Any ideas what it could be?

the only connection i have found are 1. at the times when the drl/blinker stays solid, the DRL will not be ilumiated. (it will iluminate when i turn the signal on, but solid of corse)
2. ushally first drive of the day. if i have been drivin for a while, it will ushally preform totally normal.

remember its a 97(97-02 are the same system) so the drls are suposes to be on all the time anyway.

I suspect its bad wires OR half dead "clicking" relay. (makes the noise when i use it) could this cause my problems?? currious cuz its annoying as hell

If your front turn signal bulbs are ok,maybe you have a rear bulb out,or possibly a bad flasher. It's also possible that there is something wrong with the bulb even though it's still lit,I ahd that problem, bulb was on for DRL's but not turn signals, base of bulb was burnt a little.
