94 M6 Driveshaft interchange

Will a shaft from a 89 V6 auto work in a 94 M6? I think it will but I'm not sure. I chucked my drive shaft yesterday and need something FAST. Found THIS on Ebay and wondered if it would work for now.

Re: Driveshaft interchahge

all driveshafts are interchangable from 83-02.

only thing i'm not sure of is if extra brackets are needed for the 2 piece driveshafts from the 4th gen v6 cars.

Re: Driveshaft interchahge

I wish I broke it from too much HP. It actually came apart because one of the bolts on the yoke backed out. That will teach me to recheck them after a few days. I installed the new rear 2 weeks ago and had been meaning to get under there and check all the bolts.

Re: Driveshaft interchahge

all drivesahfts are interchanageable, not sure if 3rd gens had 2 piece or 1 peice.

If you get a 2 piece from a 3rd gen, you will need the torque arm as well, the center swing bearing bolts into the torque arm.

Get a steel one before you even think of gong to that hassle.
