Drive car during break?
Drive car during break?
I will be home from school for 9 days next week. My car is stored (covered, fuel stab, fresh oil, fresh wax, etc) since August. Would there be a big difference in whether I let it sit till spring, or drive it for a week? What would you do? Thanks!

I'd say drive it as long as it's nice.

Re: Drive car during break?
My biggest concern is driving it, and than not being able to properly clean it before I store it again. After thanksgiving break, it would only be about 2 weeks before I would be able to drive it again - the car is garage kept, so i could always pour some water over it and clean it decently.
That's it, I cant keep talking about it - I need to drive the damn thing.
Im driving it all this week, cleaning it good enough for it to sit another 2 weeks, then when I'm on winter break I'll keep it out for a week or so until the weather gets worse, snowy, etc and I'll store it till spring then.
ALSO: My oil was fresh when I stored it, if I drive it and let it sit again, will the oil still be fine to sit until spring? Also, if so - when should I next change it - after how many miles or months? Remember, it was fresh at the end of august, and has been sitting indoors since then. Should I change it in spring or is it good for a little longer? Thanks guys!
