I have a 95 z28 , I went to get in my car today and when I pulled the handle I felt like a metal wire or clip at the edge of my finger and now it wont open as smooth and it rattles around. This same thing happened to my 93 camaro so I'm pretty sure its common. Is there any way to fix this?

 

You have to replace the entire handle. It's an easy fix. I bought two when it happened to me. The new one will be nice and new....I didn't want a dull one and a shiny one.
