distributor
Got a quick question gang is the rotor on the distributor cap supposed to spin smoothly n not rough,I just remembered when I was fixing the mechanics mistakes to my camaro i remembered when I was turning the rotor it was not smooth.
I have another one brand new in a box in my closet n the rotor spins nice n smooth, can a not smooth rotor cause bad hesitating at high rpm? |
Re: distributor
"Not smooth" means bad bearing. If it's worn bad enough, could cause the rotor to wobble.

Re: distributor
Sure... the faster the rotor spins, the more it's going to vibrate if it isn't perfectly balanced. Did you loc-tite the rotor screws before installing? they have a habit of coming loose and falling out.
