different tire sizes affect ABS?

I've been troubleshooting my ABS INOP light for months now, and I just got another hypothesis I wanted to ask about.

I have 235/55/16 stock tires up front, and 255/50/16 in the rear. Would those have enough of a difference in diameter to affect the ABS and confuse it?

Have you confirmed that the wheel speed sensors are connected and functioning properly?

No on the wire, but that is the kinda stuff I'm looking for!! I fixed my cruise control by finding a broken wire leading to the 3rd brake light. All the obvious stuff on my car is in good working order, it's little things like you mentioned that are screwed up. Can you give me a little more detail on where the wire is?

My brake fluid looks like guiness stout. it's pretty black. I'll be bleading it soon.

I think he is referring to the positive and negative posts on the passenger shock tower. If those get corroded, they can lead to some weird electrical issues.
