Difference between a formula, ws6 and a trans am?

Just what the title says. I am looking at formula right now and i was just wondering what is the difference between a ws6, formula, and a trans am? These are the lt1 body styles because im looking at a 95 formula.

The amount of money you pay for the car.

Re: Difference between a formula, ws6 and a trans am?

The Formula is the base model V6 looking body with the V8 besides the tailights and the fact it might say "Formula" somewhere on the back bumper. This is also the lightest F-body out of all of them. The Trans AM, is the more likely loaded model with different front and rear bumpers, with side skirts, and a raised spoiler. The WS6 model is more rare and more expensive and incorporates a Ram Air hood on either a Formula or Trans Am model. Generally speaking the suspension is better on the WS6 as well as the Ram Air will give you a bit more power. It may even come with a better exhaust as well, not sure on that part. Thats pretty much the differences that I am aware of.

Runs pretty much the same as the other LT1 cars do stock. Somewhere around a 14.1 or so on average.

Re: Difference between a formula, ws6 and a trans am?

My buddies 95 Z did 13.8 with a K&N and a cat back. DR dropped my time .3 in my quarter mile.

The times seem correct. On average LT1 F-bodies run about a 14.1 or so in the quarter as I previously have said. After that it doesn't take much to get yourself deep into the 13's with a few minor bolt on mods. After the 13's though, it seems to take quite a bit more the faster you go.

thats basically the same with all cars.. It takes a lot more to go from 13.0 to 12.0 than it does to go from 14.0 to 13.0...
