Difference between....

Ok im in the process of buying a catback and i go on ebay and find a borla for 93-97 and a borla for 95-97. What is the difference??? My car is a 1997 Z and i know its dual cat but could both of these fit?

Ok i found the differance...one is a rear section the other one is the whole catback...I got a 97 Z28 with SLP mid headers with a random tech y-pipe dual cat...Which one do i get??? BTW what is the rear section include with it???

You need a 96-97 style which is compatible with dual cat Y-pipes, if thats what you still have with the SLP headers. Also do some searching in LT1 Tech and find some other catbacks to consider. Borla is ok, but there are alot better for the money. Also check the Forsale section for used catbacks, thats how I got mine, $350 less than new with only 1500 miles. Get a full 3" catback not just the rear section. If you need anything else, just PM me, I spent months researching catbacks, I could probably save you some time.

I just installed a Borla catback with a QTP electric adjustment valve in it. It sounds awsome, and it is fun playing with the electric valve. It goes from mild to wild with the flip of a switch.

Get the valve at Quicktime Performance. For the extra $150 it makes the car so much more fun to play with!
