Day Time running lights how do I disable them??

Day Time running lights how do I disable them??

Ok I just picked of a 97 Camaro SS it has the happy Daytime running lights and I hate them! HOW DO YOU GET THEM TO STAY OFF WHEN ITS DAY LIGHT OUT??

You can scotchlock the wires leading to the sensor together (makes it think it's always light out) or you can pull up your ebrake lever ONE notch before you turn the car on.

Where is the sensor??
The only light that are on all the time are the marker lights looks lame to me And I dont see any other Camaros running around like this so I know there has to be a way to shut them down. Pull the e-brake 1 notch must be the ticket Ill try it

I put a piece of metal in place of the optic sensor. The proper way is a resistor but the metal has worked for over 4 years now. There should be write ups on this here.

Here ya go...Daytime Lights

The sensor should be on the top of the dash normally beside the alarm light.
