Cutting off cat?

My magnaflow exhaust is pretty quiet at idle but very noticeable at WOT. I want to get a little more power. I am thinking about cutting off the cat but I don't want it too be too loud. Are the gains from not having a cat worth it? Any suggestions will be appreciated.

You will see some gains, I would think about 5-10 HP. Will be noticably louder.

Gains can be felt, and exhaust tones will increase. Keep in mind that you will smell more fuel at idle. I have done it to all the F-body's I've had and loved it. I say go for it!!
