A/C's not cold and it's HOT outside
My A/C was blowing warm air so I released all the air from the low side. There was no refrigerant left, just air. Then I used the recharge bottles you spray in from Autozone. The gauge on there is in the blue which is suppose to mean it's in the right range. However, it's still blowing hot air.
Are our car's A/C suppose to be at a higher or lower range than 35-45psi?
Thanks

Is the compressor running? I guess so since you put refrigerant in but confirm that.
If you exposed the system to atmostphere you probably introduced moisture - compromising performance. I did this to replace a leaking schrader valve - got A/C back - pretty good - but not frigid. If mine holds pressure I am going to have it vacuumed and properly filled next year.
I also understand the dryer needs to be replaced any time the system is opened.
