Cracked/Hazed Headlights

My headlight lenses are starting to crack and haze. My friend took 4000 grit to them and it looked like it cleaned them up, but it quickly came back. He also took Silver Bullet wheel polish and tried to buff it out, but that didn't work either.

Have any of you successfully made your '98+ headlights clear again?

Re: Cracked/Hazed Headlights

i'm sure you can find the sand paper where ever it is sold. just make sure you get the right grit.

have a small bucket/bowl of water and a rag. wet the surface of the headlamp and then proceed to sand.

you can get a 2 step 3m plastic polish at a local auto store
