I searched and couldn't find anything. I have also googled for the part and couldn't find anything. My wife has a 94 z28 convertible and over time we have broken the two guides (one on each side) that help the top retract. They are a small guide rod with a plastic ball type pressure fitting on the end. I believe the other end goes into the frame of the the top connecting with a nut. does anyone have any of these or know where I can buy them. I have checked online and at junk yard and no dice. Any help would be great.
Thanks
A lot of small parts in a convertible top frame and with your description, it's hard know what part you're talking about for sure. I've posted a picture from the parts manual. See if you can pick out the piece your looking for and I can get a part number for it. Chances are probably slim it will be still available from the factory, but that would be where I would start. You may end up looking in a salvage yard if they'll sell small parts from one.

That part was not available by itself, you had to order the complete #9 assembly. The online GM parts sites show that part number as discontinued. You might try contacting Hawks Motorsports to see if they could help you. Hawks is also a F-Body salvage yard that may have damaged top frames they could get that part from. You could also try Billy Graham's Camaro and Firebird in Alabama.
