Why would my controls in my 99' z28 reset after a cold start?? All my gages top out and then return to normal and my trip meter zero's out. I don't feel it is the battery becase my radio is keeping it's settings? Anyone have Ideas?

 

Have the battery load tested/check your connections. Very common on the '99 cars when voltage is low. There's even a GM TSB on it - #99-08-49-009 Trip Odometer Resets to Zero (Exchange/Install Instrument Cluster).
