Some bolt ons would do it if it's a strong running LT1. Not sure what the cobra runs but it's no 03/04 model.

Edit: I know it's motor trend but it'll give you some idea.

I heard Ford gave the magazines shiners for the tests. I say with a full exhaust, intake you would definitly win.

Those, it's ok. They are factory supercharged and have in the right hands hit 12's bone stock. Traction/IRS is their weak point when stock.

What do you run? Gears are probably a bigger seat of the pants gain than your et would show.

Run em, see what happens. If ya get beat you can do one of two things.

1: Pull out the old master card and mod some more
2: Realize there is always someone faster and take it in stride

The pre-blower Cobra's usually run right around stock LT-1 times. They really wake up with a set of gears, exhaust, and air intake. Then they can get into the high 12's around 105-108. A stock n/a DOHC 4.6 makes crappy low end torque, so adding at least 4.10 gears really helps them get into their powerband.

Completely. Those 4-valve cars with some bolt-on's and a blower can trap 120+.

yeah, i wouldnt mess w/ an 03/04 cobra unless you have some pretty extensive mods. those cars w/ only an upgraded pully, exhaust and on a good tire will hit 11's no problem.

other then that though you should be able to take a normal N/A cobra

yes the CR is 10.1:1

1998 had a 15.5 gal tank, 99-02 has a 16.8 gal tank

average dyno for a 98 is 285-300, average dyno for 99-02 is 295-320ish
