Hey Bro,

Mine's been broken before I got my car a little over a year ago. The only reason I found out it was broken was when I removed the lower dash panel this spring fell to the ground and I was like WTF?. Soon after that winter came and the only thing I could relate to the spring being broken was when it’s COLD, it made a little click sound when the clutch returns. However, I haven’t had any problems at all with my clutch pedal other than that little aural annoyance during COLD weather. I'd love to fix it but I haven’t had issues without it. The pedal seems to return just fine without it. Maybe it was there for older 4th Gen's.

Maybe someone with the GM cd's can provide you with some help. Any volunteers?

Thanks for the reply I am probably going to leave it off. Unless someone has a pic since I already spent $35 on a new one.

If waiting isnt an issue, once I get my pc up I can send you some information about that job if you'd like. There's a possibility i'll get my pc back today. Today we're finally doing the last chunk of the big move and I should be able to finally get electricity in my basement if not today then definately sunday / monday...

I'll PM you when i get setup if thats cool with you.

See ya later bro!
