Chevy Dealership warranty on new parts?

On sept 18th I bought a A/C pressure sensor. I have the receipt, and if I'm reading it correctly it basically says it honors no warranties, that any warranties are between the manufacturer and the consumer. Have you any of you guys ever tried to take a faulty part back to the dealership?

Usually with relays, switches, etc. no warranty implied if used.... AC Delco only carries 1 year warranties on alternators, starters, etc......

But you can always try????? Dealership's discretion.... The dealership I use alot has no problem most of the time.....
