I've had my 1995 Z28 for eight years,and I got it with the console hinges glued at their break point.Both of them were glued.Last year,they broke off and I used a liquid black polyethylene sewer pipe glue,which just failed this week.Has anyone found what kind of plastic this is made of,and acheived a lasting repair? Or,should I just hang at the wreckers until an un-broken set shows up?

Why not fabricate a metal piece. If you do a really good job you could sell them on E-Bay.
