Cat question

I have a completely stock 94 Z. I wanted to remove the catalytic convertor and replace it with a stainless pipe piece what diameter should this piece be?? Thank.s

well what diameter of exhaust do u have on the car? i am assuming if u r running a 3 inch pipe u want 3 inch pipe. but i am assuming u arent, because if u were u would know which size? i dont know.... just go with what size of pipe is on there. it depends

I am running the stock 3". Wouldnt I want something a bit smaller to fit inside the 3 inch pipe?? or stay 3 inch.

depends...if you are welding, 3 inch is preferred - it you want to do this yourself and be able to swap it out, you'll want to find a off road pipe that's of slip-fit design.

How do you plan on securing the pipe?
