Arrow Cat-back VS. gutted cat & high flow muffler

On my car with stock 2.5 pipes, and not too many mods........is it worth the performance to get a decent cat-back system, or should i keep the money and just gut my cat and get a high flow muffler?

Which will really give better power and performance, and how much?

I'm only 17, is it worth it for me to spend all my money and get a cat back?

Thanks,
Ed

I would go with a cutout if I were you. It would make sense since you're looking for something cheap.

An e-cutout would probably be your best option. Open for romps around town, closed for cruising or avoiding attention.

How much would it cost for a complete cutout setup with everything i need? I searched about them a little and I came up with a lot of different prices.

What price should I expect to pay for the complete package?

a cutout itself is only $30-40

the electric plate so you can open it from inside the car, that costs another $150-200 but isn't a necessity

i would say just save up for an inexpensive catback like the hooker or magnaflow
