Which car would you buy?

This one will need a few parts thrown at it in the interrior and new bulbs for foglights that kinda stuff. But has a 3k crate engine in it and a soild drivetrain and good start on modifactions.

This one is very clean and has 56k miles. Has BBK shorties, Catco cat, and a flowmaster catback. The mods suck ill be probally be redoing all those lol, But its a clean car.
What do you think? I can get both for 6k and they wont budge lower.

Re: Which car would you buy?
that camaro doesnt have power windows, which is nice.
I had a 97 3.8 camaro for 3 years but Im thinking towards the formula cause its clean and not really raced. Its a change, I love pop-up headlights lol.
Im sure ill get some more opinions

Re: Which car would you buy?
Considering both vehicles are almost the same price, I would go with the Camaro. Assuming the mods. have been done with a professional approach and are not a "hack job" then it would be a nice vehicle to start off with.
Re: Which car would you buy?
I'd get the Formula. I had a 95 and loved it. Personally, I see a lot more Z28's then Formulas around..
But then again I'm partial to Pontiacs (I'm on my 4th one). Can't beat those miles either.
Oh and I don't hate pop-up headlights.

Re: Which car would you buy?
Im not looking for a 10 sec car, Im going to build a street car that is very quick, handles very well and is clean and looks very good.
The forumula is in good shape and the odo reads low. I love pop up headlights i just love the look in the front end when there up.
The car is my main toy but i do have a 93 sentra as my daily driver.
So im leaning towards the formula

Re: Which car would you buy?
I personally lean toward the Formula. I know I currently own a Camaro, but I do think the Formula's look a bit better. (the pop up headlights can be an annoyance tho) And in those years, the dash of the Pontiac is much much better than the one the Camaros had.
The Camaro in question, too many oddities. Why did it need a new engine with only 89k miles? All those mods and never raced? Suuure. And spare wheels with 2 tires, drag radials, ....convenient for lets see.......drag racing?

Re: Which car would you buy?
I personally like the looks of the Camaro more...I like the Firebirds, but only the "LS1" ones..not fan of the earlier "LT1" ones.
HOWEVER, if you HAD to choose b/w these two, I would say the Formula, just because the Camaro was definitely beatened and raced. That's a lot of mods just for just a "street" car. It would just save you the headaches of having to fix all the little things that break on the Camaro. My theory is to get a sound car, and you can add all the mods you want. 89K miles and "Mario Andretti" behind the wheel of the Camaro, I'd worry about the abuse it took.
Or pass on both and keep looking...used 4th gen F-bodies are always on the market.
