Car Lurching under WOT

As the title says recently I've noticed my z28 will occasionally lurch under WOT acceleration as if I'm letting on and off the accelerator despite it being floored, i've only noticed it in 3rd gear and above and generally above 3k rpms. Any thoughts on what could be going on? It's stock save a catback and CAI.

Possibly a loose throttle cable? If you want to know for sure if the throttle is actually at 100% WOT, try having someone with a diagnostic cable and a laptop with LT1 edit, or tunercat ride with you on a run to see if the car is actually reading 100% WOT. That will at least help you narrow it down.

just a guess, but check your fuel filter, if it is very clogged it may not be allowing enough gas to get to the motor for those WOT bursts. again, purely an educated guess, not based on anything other than that.
