Engine starts and runs normal for a few a short time then quits. Will not restart until it cools down. I assume it to be electrical. Replaced starter switch, no change. Could this be a BCM problem? Also no codes to read. Help!

You really need to trouble shoot it.

Start by getting a cheap spark tester. See if it has spark. Get a fuel pressure gauge and see if it has fuel pressure. Get a noid light and see if the injectors are pulsing.

It could be any of several electrical components. If you want to roll the dice and try replacing stuff, I'd go for the ICM first. It attaches directly to the drivers side cylinder head and can be vulnerable to heat. A common mod is to use washers to space it away from the head a little to help keep it cool.

Well we have fuel but no spark after it heats up. When its ice cold after the night time it runs for about 5 min, but then won't crank. So it gets spark but after what ever this is thats killing it then i'm screwed! Maybe a relay??

My money is on the ICM

A faulty ICM won't allow the car to start but should still crank. Does your Security light come on and stay on when the engine dies and won't restart?

It could very well work fine when it is cold, and allow the car to start. Then once it gets warm it pukes and the car dies.

When you say "it won't crank" do you mean you turn the key and the starter is dead? Or do you mean that the starter cranks it but it won't fire?
