Car alarms compatible with 93 fbodys
Car alarms compatible with 93 fbodys
I am wanting to get a car alarm, but I dont want to buy one and find out it doesnt work with my car. Any suggestions? Car is a 1993 Z28 with power locks. I am looking for something with an alarm and keyless entry. Thanks!
I am looking at the Viper 350HV, anyone know if it will work on a 93?

Viper's alarms are universal, they should install into anything, you just have to wire them up yourself. I like Viper though, good systems. Check here for how:

I have a Viper 790XV to install still (my car doesnt work so no point to put it in yet). But any aftermarket alarm/keyless/etc works with any car ever made. Bypass your VATS and wire it up. Either have someone who knows what they're doing do it or if you can understand simple wiring schematics you can do it yourself. Its simple just time consuming. 4th gen F-bodies are not bad, its just the BMW's and newer lux cars that are a bitch.

Then, don't leave the gararge door opiner in your car along with the registration with your address on it.While you at work, the bums break your window, steel the remote, read where you live, and rob your house, while you are at work.Call me crazy(or drunk),but unless you have stuff just laying there in the open(purse),then I would'nt worry much.Beer time here.

I am worried someone will think since my windows are so dark I must have something worth stealing.
