camaro ss production #'s and such

hey guys im trying to track down all the info on my car.... i have spoken to SLP to get my build #, but im looking to narrow things down a lil bit.

Does anyone know where i can find the production #'s off all the SS cars in 97, from hard top, to t-top to rag tops, colours, etc......

as well, outside of slp, where can i order all the info on my car, booklets, and all the original style stuff, i wana keep it all in a nice safe place

There were 3137 SS's in 97 according to the Camaro White Book. Good place for a window sticker is www.window-sticker.com Great guys to deal with. The rest will probably be evilbay if not SLP or a place like this.

ahhh so i guess me having car #c169 and it being 1 of 6, polo green 6 speed's in a rag top, its prob worth a fair penny huh

Not yet. It's going to be a few years. LT1's, even SS' are dropping in value.

Of course you should. The 96's might be one of the more desirable fourth gens one day due to the first year for the SS since 72 and because the production was fairly low. If the car is paid for I say keep it and buy another one. I hate parting with them.
