A/C issues. (scraping noise)
First things first, I have a 99 camaro.
A while back my A/C was messed up, the air would only blow out of the central vent on the top of the dash, so I had a local shop by me fix it and they said it was something about my compressor overworking, it was like $100 and they fixed it, it blows cold air and it works.
But NOW theres this scraping noise when I turn it on, I'm 90% sure that its the fan that blows air to the vents. When I turn the dial for a/c power up the noise gets faster and higher, I popped off my passenger side vent and the sound got a bit louder so I know its somewhere in that area.
I don't know what it is, and what its doing, My A/C blows cold constant air, but I think I have a fan scraping something.
Should I pop off the bottom part of my glovebox where I'll assume my A/C stuff is and see whats up? or just leave it up to a shop around here to fix it.
I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to A/C related stuff but I'm pretty mechanically inclined.
