A/C Compressor Leak

I noticed a small green leak on my garage floor last week. Honestly thought it was my water pump. Under further inspection there is green fluid all over under my a/c compressor.

Can I replace the o-ring seals on the car? Or am I looking at an A/C compressor replacement? How many hours is the compressor replacement shop rate? Is it pretty easy for a weekend mechanic to do?

Re: A/C Compressor Leak

I was just reading the green stuff is dye mixed with the refrigerant and compressor oil to make it easier to find the source of the leak.Could be a hose, but I dunno.Hope this helps.
