Lightly hold the brake and slam on the gas.

Re: Burnout

Installing a line lock or roll control lets you "lock" the front brakes while leaving the rear brakes unclamped.

Re: Burnout

That or you simply drop the clutch from a certain rpm, and then quickly (but not abruptly, otherwise you'll stall the car) get onto the brake, and hold the brakes so the car doesn't move.

Re: Burnout

So once the car gets moving abit let go of the clutch so i don't burn it and put my left foot on the brake and right foot on the gas pedal?

Re: Burnout

drop the clutch around 4k rpms. THe tires will light up, keep the revs high, around 5k.

At this point, move your left foot from the clutch and slowly depress the brake pedal JUST ENOUGH for the car to stop moving forward.

WHen your done, slowly let off the brake pedal and you will "roll out" of the burnout as the tires begin to get some traction.

Re: Burnout

Once you get the tires spinning, hold the gas pedal to the floor then cut the wheel all the way.

Re: Burnout

oh, if you look at my car vid in the sig, I have a pretty descent burnout in it at the end. You can tell I wasn't "perfect" doing it, the car slid forward a few feet before I stopped it, but you can do it with no roll if you put your mind to it,

Re: Burnout

I hope your tires are near the end of their lifetime and you're just burning up tread before you get new ones...
