Question Brake Upgrades, Worth It?

I just ordered some cross drilled and sloted rotors, and I also got some steel braded brake lines. My question is that am I going to feel much of a difference with these mods? I have never done any brake upgrades before so they are new to me. Also, what pads would you recommend to go along with this setup?

From what ive heard drilled/sloted rotors actually break worse than normal ones. The benefit is they disipate heat better, allowing you to break better over extended periods.

Brake lines are a worthwhile mod. Drilled rotors, not so much. I've been happy with EBC Greenstuff pads.

find a salvaged 98 or later camaro and buy the front spindles and calpiers. that is a worth while upgrade. keep the steel braided lines and send the rotors back. the rotors will warp in 6-8 months if its daily driven.

whether you feel it or not will depend on your driving habits. if you don't do much hard braking, the situations where stock brakes fall short, you may not notice much. kindda like lots of HP, if you never rev it past 2500rpms you won't feel much out of a 50hp gain.

i've heard good and bad things about the drilled rotors.

i've also heard lots of good things about the EBC and Hawk pads
