ok guys... heres whats goin on. my driver side rear brake pad was GONE. metal on metal rubbing obviously needed to be replaced and so did the rotor. the wierd thing i noticed is that the outside pad was gone yet the inside still had some meat on it. so i take it all apart put it back together and take it for a drive... still grinds, im like wtf is goin on, take it apart and now the caliper anchor bracket is hitting the rotor its self. its only hitting on the top part(above where the pad woudl be but not below) of the bracket and not the bottom. this makes no sense to me what so ever and im completely lost. why is it doing this? and how do i fix it?
