Brake lights & Turnsignals

For some crazy reason, no brake lights except spoiler brake light and no turn signals. Checked the bulbs, OK. Turn on flashers and the front turn signals flash but not back ones. All 3 tail light bulbs lit when lights are on. Any idea's what to check?

If all the bulbs are good start chacking fuses and relays.

sounds like a possible turn signal switch, check power in, and power out

Checked all my fuses, everything OK, then on the way home from work last night I had right side turn signals and brake lights but not left. This morning out again, just center brake light and no turn signals and brake lights. Must be some king of short. The fronts will flash if I move the lever up and down by hand but not the backs. Any idea where to check?

ok

towards the bottom of the steering column, there is a flat connector, has like 12 wires in it, that is the connector for the turn signal switch

with the switch plugged in and lights not working

brake depressed
you should have power on the light blue wire(from the brake switch) and on the dark green wire and the yellow wire(to the brake lights)

brakes released, key on, turn signal on
power on the purple wire(from flasher), and flashing power on the yellow wire(left rear turn) or dark green(right rear turn)

if any of those is not present, you need a turn signal switch
