Brake light switch

So I was fixing my headlight switch last night, and I noticed my brake light switch only had one plug going into it. All it had was the 2 wire plug. I looked for about 20 min under the dash and I couldn't find the 4 wire plug like in Shoebox's picture. Anyone know the function of this?

Cruise control shut off maybe? I'm pretty sure mine has 2 on it also.

mine works fine. I think the cruise shut off is a cable that goes to the brake booster

On an M6 the brake switch only has one connector hooked to it. The other spot on the switch is the torque converter clutch release and is only used on A4 cars. The cruise release is the white switch with one connection. The M6 has two, one on the brake and one on the clutch.
