A couple days ago I picked up a black 93z28 m6 hardtop with 175k miles on it (supposedly was rebuilt), bodys in great shape but Paint is pretty faded and im sure Ill need paint. Headliner was falling out so i went ahead and took it all down, gonna need a new one. Drivers seat has a big tear in it, gonna need reupholstered or replacing and carpet is pretty filthy. I have taken the seats out (cloth) and IVe resolved the carpet and even put some shout on it and tried to get some of the stains out, im going to try to steam clean it the best I can when I get some spare time. I was wondering how you guys go about cleaning the carpet and upholstry on the doors and the seats and the pleather stuff on the doors, its got dirt in the cracks. I kinda want to find a manual window out of another camaro to put in this and a nonpower drivers seat maybe out of a salvage yard, I just want the simplest thing out there and also the lightest, these gm window motors suck. Ive got a few pics, any advice on the car in general is appreciated, I own a 98gt and a 96 cobra so this is my 1st fbody experience. heres a few pics
