Re: Borla XR-1 vs Loudmouth

I would think the Xr1 does but most people use those with true dual setups. I'm not that big of a fan of catbacks right now because of my borla chicking my stroker so I plan on going with dual 3" pipes all the way back.

Re: Borla XR-1 vs Loudmouth

Before my car decided it didn't want to start, I really enjoyed the Loudmouth. It definantly is loud, I can't sneak around or pretend to be a V6 very easily anymore that's for sure (i have a B4C). When you get on it, it is really obvious. I can't speak about the Borla, but I definantly like the Loudmouth I put on my car, and I still have stock manifolds and cats, it'll be even louder w/ some headers and ORY pipe.

Re: Borla XR-1 vs Loudmouth

I have the loudmouth with mids and y pipe and it is LOUD. As far as flow i think they're pretty close, i think it would come down to which sound you like better (and how much you wanna spend).

Oh and LT1boy, i had a 93 thunderbird sc that looked exactly like yours, only i converted my aod to the 5 speed m5r2 and i had the asa js1's. Sweet ride
