its quieter? no car and 3" i pipe and borla muffler? sounds like u lost some torque maybe? what catback/exhaust did you have on it before you decided to go with the borla? how much did u spend total on this new exahust setup? do you like the sound? is it loud at all?

I used to have a magnaflow muffler with stock piping, no cat, and a manual cutout that I never used. Now I have the Borla muffler with all 3" piping and no cat. I got the muffler from a muffler warehouse off Ebay. It said in the description that it was not a loud muffler but flowed very well. I never knew that it would be this quiet.

Your quarter mile ET might suffer a little(doubtful, but it's possible) because of the loss of tq, but like you said with better traction it may improve. Your mph in the 1/4 should go up some though with better hp up top.

yea is ee it. well the real question is. how does it sound compared to the magnaflow? did you install the cutout on your new i-pipe? how do u like the sound of the borla compared to the old exhaust? if you like it better than thats good if u dont u mihgt want to invest in the borla catback since you have been looking at the borla.

It sounds much better than the magnaflow. My magnaflow used to pop a lot and sounding real hollow, like in a tin can. I didn't get the cutout installed on the exhaust either. It just isn't used enough. The borla has a better tone to it than the magnaflow also.
