PS: My exhaust is quieter than it has ever been with the big tubing and Borla muffler.

I used to have a magnaflow muffler with stock piping, no cat, and a manual cutout that I never used. Now I have the Borla muffler with all 3" piping and no cat. I got the muffler from a muffler warehouse off Ebay. It said in the description that it was not a loud muffler but flowed very well. I never knew that it would be this quiet.

Your quarter mile ET might suffer a little(doubtful, but it's possible) because of the loss of tq, but like you said with better traction it may improve. Your mph in the 1/4 should go up some though with better hp up top.

It sounds much better than the magnaflow. My magnaflow used to pop a lot and sounding real hollow, like in a tin can. I didn't get the cutout installed on the exhaust either. It just isn't used enough. The borla has a better tone to it than the magnaflow also.
