How hard is it to install A borla catback on a dual cat z28?
Any good site explaining it?

Re: Borla Catback

I dont know about the dual cat part but I installed one on my V6 2 years ago.

For the most part it was a pretty easy install. I was going to do it on ramps in my garage but we used a lift and it was a BIG help! If I were you I'd try to get a lift.

I started in the front and worked towards the rear, once it was all together I just clamed it down.

I did make ajustments over the following weeks, especially where it goes over the axle since it was rattling.
My only rattle to this day is if I hit a bad bump It hits the cross brace where the cat back connects to the front S pipe.

It only worked out for me that one time because I knew a guy who knew a guy and it was after hours, I dont talk to either of them anymore so I would probibly pay someone if I couldnt do it that way.

Re: Borla Catback

Easy... just jack up the back of the car and put it on jack stands. I left the front on the ground. I advise gettin help from a friend also so one of you can hold the pipeing up and the other secure it...I couldnt see a dual cat car being any different. Est time...bout 1-2 hrs if everything goes smoothly...the hardest part it getting the old rusty exhaust out. Other than that you be happy with the results on a LT1
