Big Thank you to Shoebox
Big Thank you to Shoebox
The Power Window motor guide saved a starving college student ~$300 in labor charges. I did them myself and it was pretty easy following that guide. Frusterating as all hell, but I still got it done. First side (passenger) took about 3 hours, and the driver side only took about 1 hour since I knew exactly what to do.
The only thing I would reccomend to be added to the guide is when you're putting the NEW motor in, after its all lined up with the regulator and what not, use a C clamp on the composite panel and the window motor through that little hole where you can unplug the motor, and that way you can hold the motor inplace while you attach the motor to the door without having to awkwardly hold it with one hand.
Thank Shoebox, man I owe you one.
