T56, motor mounts came with the k-member. They are pedestal type mounts, nothing special. Other fabbed pieces are the elbow, radiator hoses, intake pipe, various mounts for the MSD, BS3, regulator, etc. It's not really that bad.

anymore progress on this? Just selling off all my LT1 stuff and going 396 BBC into my camaro w/ a th400. going to be a pretty much stock 396 currently

Your using hooker 2455 headers correct? How well do they fit with the BMR k-member? And modifications? if so, how much?

what oil pan are you using?

Damn, sorry for just now getting back to this and thanks for being interested and posting.

Yes, using 2455's. Clearance depends on what heads you run. I mocked everything up with 990 heads and everything cleared except for #7, it went right into the heater box, but could be re-routed. When I put on the RHS heads, the exhaust ports are raised, they didn't fit anymore, hit the k-member so much that they wouldn't even bolt up. I haven't screwed with them much, just let them be and moved on to wiring so I'm not sure what I'm going to have to do to make it work.

Oil pan is a Champ Pan, I've heard great things about them and the pan clears everything fine.

I'm not sure what it is honestly. I remember slapping a level on the carb pad. It's level side to side, but it's tilted slightly downward towards the rear. I'm pretty sure the LT1 is the same way.

I haven't messed with mine for a while either, did swap the intake and drop the distributor in and fire it off for a second . hanging from a beam wanted to move too much. no motor mounts yet, or steering shaft, my rag joint wants to rub the header tube

I cut the hvac box. and have been looking at trying the lt1 K member, now that I have the intake that fits better, looks as if the stock k member might work with just a little cutting of the lower mounts for the A frame??? and I raised the engine a lot
