Battery keeps dying

For the third time in about 6 months, my car won't start. The first time, it made a loud clicking noise (the starter, I assume) and I brought it to a mechanic, who simply tightened the battery connection and it worked fine. He said 4th gen Camaros often have this problem. It happened a couple months later, so I cleaned out and tightened the battery connection. It worked. It had happened again and I'd like to know if anyone else has had this problem/ has a solution? Is the connection really the problem? And is there a way to permanently fix it? Thanks fellas.

Re: Battery keeps dying

It's the connection, but not the connection on the outside. It is most likely the solenoid inside the starter. Mine clicked a lot, then the solenoid casing popped off completely and I had to buy a new starter.
