Does anyone know the correct size for the bolt that goes in the black rubber piece to hold down the battery. I went to the local parts store but they didnt know.
Any help is appreciated.

 

I replaced my battery tray and battery at the same time and the old bolt doesn't work with the new tray so there might be 2 different ones needed depending upon the tray itself. I didn't use one this time and the battery is solid as a rock so I didn't worry about it. Maybe its the battery that I bought that caused the issue. The bolt is 3 1/4" long. The thread starts 1 1/4 " from the top of the head. It a hair over 1/4 inch thick and it takes a 10mm socket.

 

I reused my old one with the new tray, don't know the thread, head was 1/2"
