B4c

Hello Everyone,
I am strongly considering getting myself another toy this summer. One is my choices is a 4th gen B4C. I don't see myself really modding the car, I really am looking for a summer time, daily driver, fun car. I don't know much about the cars so am I here seeking knowledge. What things should I look for while searching? I am in the chicagoland area so I have ruled out looking for a car here because I want a rust free car, Has any one used copcarsonline? They advertise on Ebay and have some sharp looking cars on their web site. Any advice you all have to offer will be GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Thank you.
X-rayman.

If you buy a B4C car you are basically buying a fleet driven car (employee car). Before you consider buying one of these think about this: have you or anyone you know ever driven a rental car/truck? Do you drive it nice and easy or hard as hell b/c its not yours? Samething goes for cop cars. Also the B4C doesn't have any more HP or any other performance options than a regular Z. It does however have a larger alternator to supply the large amount of police equipment carried in the cars.

I think B4C cars also had power steering coolers, but not sure on that. Just check it like you would any other car you are looking at buying. Run the VIN with Carfax, check for leaks, see how many miles are on it, make sure everything works. And don't forget to test drive it
