ASR Removal??

Is it possible to remove the ASR without throwing codes? Traction control is really something I don't need, and it's kind of instrusive in the engine bay. So I was think that I might try to remove it. I heard that it will throw a ABS code though. Can this be removed via a computer flash? Has anyone does this? Thanks for any help.

Yeah, it's probably more work and $$ than you want to do. I posted on this 4 months ago and I think you will also need a different ABS unit to keep from throwing codes. Don't quote me on this though.

Deffiantly more $$ than you would want to do.

Re: ASR Removal??

do a search in the "forced induction" forum...since it requires removal of the ASR for most SC installs.

i know years ago i was looking into it and that's where i found the most help.
