Re: APC seats??

Look for seats that have an actual lever to recline the seats instead of the turn-****. You will also need a set of brackets to install the seats into your car.

Cool Re: APC seats??

I have some that are like those, I had to make my own brackets( mine has universal tracks) ,they look nice ,if i got another set i would get the kind with the lever to tilt forward(mine dont have one) but overall i am happy with them, plus the 4 point harness ( for street) keeps your but planted where it should stay

Re: APC seats??

Corbeau makes brackets for the Camaro, and so does Sparco. http://www.racing-seats-usa.com/raci...-brackets.html

IF you have the money, I would get some better quality seats, such as Corbeau or Sparco.

Re: APC seats??

You can install almost any seat in a 4th gen IF you make your own brackets.
I have a Jegs GS-1 installed in my 94 but I had to weld up some brackets.

Hang on a sec.....

I have a set. Passenger side is in, haven't had a whole lot of time to dedicate to the driver's side. I'm using the stock frame sliders.

Driver's side slider is different from the passenger side. Have to get creative with the shims/brackets to make them fit. I bought a large sheet of 3/16" steel and have been cutting brackets/shims out of it. Bought some hardware at Lowe's to mount it up.

Opinion: Don't care too much for the **** style recline mechanism, but at least they DO recline. Frames seem pretty decent. I'm not sure on the quality of material used, but we'll see over time how well it holds up. Can't beat the price. I got mine over X-mas when they were offering free shipping at Jeg's.

Re: APC seats??

Sparco seats will "bolt-in" with no mods needed other then their seat brackets. But their seats are EXPENSIVE, about $500 each. But they are top quality seats.

Re: APC seats??

Nope, it's not a 20 minute job that's for sure. But I haven't modified the seats or frame sliders, only made the brackets and shims to fit.
