I'd like to put a cable cutout on my 95 Z28.

First of all, i'm new to all this, and dont know what the diatmeter of my exhaust is.

And does anyone know where I can get one to fit it?

All the cable cutouts I've seen are cast and smaller diameter than you're I pipe should be. You may want to look into elcetric cutouts.

Get a manual one. Only way you'll get one for that price.
Place it facing out in the area under the passeneger side seat where the pan raises. This will allow you to easily reach under and remove it.

 

Well I want one that I can close and open from inside the car, in case I see cops or anything. And also I heard you can kind of "tune" it too by opening it slightly, so this will be my "exhaust".

 

get a electric. most are $200 but its worth it. Cast Iron doesnt weld well to steel. Some shops wont even weld it because they dont weld well together. Also Ive heard that rattle a lot since its a cable holding it open or shut

 

I want a set of new 12 bolt for my SS for $500. No matter how much I want that to happen its most likely not going to just like you probably won't find a good remote cut out for $50. You gotta pay to play.

You can either do nothing, suck it up and spend the $200 for the electric, choke your exhaust all the time with a small cable set up, deal with a regular cut out, or get a regular cut out and fab your own cable system and butterfly valve.
